Download Dark Orbit Hack V4.01 18
On April 22, 2022, it is predicted that the ISROs Chandrayaan-2 will pass over the impact site again and again over the course of several months. At each orbit, we will be able to compare the new image with the best-ever view of the impact site, confirming if the impact site is indeed the crater we predicted. If we see the predicted crater, we will be one step closer to the first detection of an extraterrestrial site of impact in history. By comparing the first Chandrayaan-1 image to our simulated images, we can find a best-fit solution to determine the range of differences from the best-fit solution. By comparing the second Chandrayaan-2 image to our simulated images, we can find a best-fit solution to determine the range of differences from the best-fit solution. We will then have a clear image of the impact site, in addition to location measurements of the center of the crater, the trace of the impactor, and the approximate shape of the impact site.
On August 1, 2022, with control of the launcher having been passed to the Indian Space Research Organization, the Chandrayaan-2 orbital inclination will be lowered to 41.40 degrees, and the impact site will be in the nearest possible location to the Earth and the Moon, crossing the lunar equator at an altitude of approximately 39,000 miles. We will then have the best-ever chance to see the impact in its entirety, with an exposure time of approximately 47 seconds per orbit. We now have a new opportunity to compare the best-ever view of the site with the first Chandrayaan-1 image, a view that would have been optimistically predicted to be between one and two years earlier. If we find a similar crater shape and location, then we will be one step closer to identifying the extraterrestrial impact site in history. 3d9ccd7d82
