ecusafe is a software that will run in parallel with any other software on your ecu. it will replace that software. it can not harm your ecu in any way and if you have trouble with your software, the ecusafe program will be able to help you out. all it requires is a computer with a cpu, ram, flash memory and storage media. (if you have a computer that is missing these items, we can supply an identical one to you). the user can install ecusafe on the same computer that runs your current software.
the software and user manual is supplied in a zipped folder. the program will install itself in the location you specify. the folder will be named "ecusafe_v1.9.3.zip" (or something similar to that) - when you double click it, you should see a screen like the one shown below.
if you install the program to the default location, your version number will be shown as 1.0. if you need to change the location, go to ecusafe.co.uk and enter your computer's ip address and port into the location field and click the 'get' button. a second screen will ask you for your computer's ip address and port number.
