Esther Wojcicki, Harmony Plus Dean and author of 2019 international bestseller “How To Raise Successful People,” was invited to attend the Forbes 50 Over 50 event in New York City this week. The 50 Over 50 inaugural list was issued earlier this year, for which Esther Wojcicki was included to recognize her outstanding accomplishments in education, ed-tech and social activism worldwide. The “50 Over 50” platform was developed in partnership with Mika Brzezinski to recognize distinguished women over the age of 50, all of which have achieved notable success later in life. Moreover, many of these same women achieved their success at great odds.

The Energy on the Nasdaq Floor
“There was incredible energy at the event, and the amount of energy the event amassed was an incredible thing too. And one important point I realized that was also a first for me is that everyone I met there on this occasion was a warrior. I have never been in a situation with so many women warriors. Every single woman had to fight to get where they are,” Esther said, speaking of the atmosphere on the floor at Nasdaq. She also mentioned that had it not been for such a once-in-a-lifetime event that will have a significant impact on the legacy of women in the world of tomorrow, she would not have braved the travel during the pandemic - especially in these winter months. Thus, it demonstrates well her dedication, responsibility, and warrior-hood.

Esther also mentioned that it was such an honor to be with NBC's Mika Brzezinski in person, and described her as a very humble and non-threatening person. "She knows me, and she knows a lot about what I am doing. And let's face it, she has a lot of friends (with a good chuckle)," she also commented. Emphasizing her established connections, she clarified that "I know two people on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list. They are Alfabeto Dos Rios of Nowport (a new way to simplify transportation), he is just over 20 years old! The second was Suo Chen from Decode (I am actually a member of the board of directors). It is amazing to see these young people doing so many things."
