  • The Future Entrepreneur Challenge Phase 2 is an accelerator program that builds off of the skills and knowledge gained in Phase 1, and provides the framework and support to young entrepreneurs to succeed in their business ventures. The goals for this program are to validate their startup idea with target customers, build a minimum viable product (MVP) and make a professional business plan in order to raise funding and attract new hires.

    The Future Entrepreneur Challenge Phase 2 is designed for prospective middle and high school students who want to know how to make a difference in the world. Students will learn what it takes to start a business and receive instruction and mentorship from experienced professionals and entrepreneurs who will help them develop real products.

     

    Activities:

  • Brainstorming, strategizing, and building a startup as a group
  • Personalized instruction, feedback, and Q&A with entrepreneurs and industry experts
  • Training in presentation skills, research design, and group communication
  •  

    Program details:

  • Classes meet on weekdays after school for 1.5-2h
  • 16h of classroom sessions over 3-4 weeks
  • Office Hours with main instructors and visiting faculty
  • Approximately 30 minutes of homework each night
     
  • Collaboration with BAYCO foundation and Fremont Union High School District
