Want to test out one of our Reading and Writing courses for a day before signing on for the full duration? Try a trial class! Your student will sit in with students attending the full course. Coordinators will update you via WeChat on your students’ progress and any homework, should you decide to continue.
 
Non-fiction Reading and Writing
 
Proven record of Improving students’ non-fiction reading and writing skills for narrative, informational, and persuasive styles of writing.
Focused on creating 3 core writing samples under the instruction of a professional instructor with 5+ years of teaching experience.
Highly interactive online course, allowing students to work collaboratively on their writing pieces with other students and the teacher.
 
Creative Writing
 
Sparking children’s interest in reading and writing!
Improving students’ creative writing skills, specifically in crafting prose fiction short stories
Focused on creating two short stories with strong voices, complex characters, and clear structure.
Highly interactive online course that uses a multi-modal approach and provides prompt feedback with parents.
 
Playwriting
 
Students will read and analyze the work of contemporary and classic playwrights to learn about literary and dramatic traditions.
Students will learn how to give constructive feedback to each other's work and accept feedback about their own in a workshop setting.
The student will complete a draft of their ten-minute play (approximately ten pages) for submission to competitions, festivals, or productions.
