Moonshot Book Club - PLCS Group

After reading the first chapter of Gathering Blue, I believe it is about the inner/mental strength of a person. This is because Kira, the main character, just lost her mother and right after, she comes into direct conflict. With the loss of her mother, her mental health had already taken a toll. However, right after, she finds out that the women of the village want to murder her and take her house. Kira still stands strong and doesn't back down. I think this book will also teach about independence because Kira will need to learn to be independent since she is an orphan now. I look forward to rereading this book because it appears interesting.
