The most impactful part of the first article is how the stated that at first, global warming had a positive effect on the farmers. According to the article "There’s more irrigation in northern fields now than there used to be, Tothova said, because melting glaciers in the Himalayas have increased river flow into the country."
The most impactful part of the second article is how it stated that the shortage of baby formula is now a "full blown national crisis". However, I did not feel it at all, probably because I had no need for it. I think that baby formula is a very little thing to be in need of and I don't view it as a big deal.
The most impactful part of the video is how the said that some people made feel strongly about eating meat that has been cultured in a lab. It has made me reflect on what I think about it. I am kind of disturbed by this idea but the world is evolving and we must fix our mindset accordingly. Something about growing the food that we will be consuming in a petri dish just seems very sci-fi to me. However, the benefits of getting our meat this way are obvious. Therefore, I am willing to try it.
A way we can produce food that reduces greenhouse emissions while also feeding people is by finding a cheaper way to grow meat in a lab. That way, we can reduce emissions by about 96 percent while also giving the undernourished the food they need.
