Yes you can download movies using the crew. I do it all the time. In the setup options, one page deals with this. You must specify a location for the download s to go. Be careful of external hard drives. The largest size Kodi will recognize is 2.2 T. What I do is download the movies to the download directory ( or whatever). And then use a file manager to manually transfer movies to the hard drive. Currently I Have a 8T drive. Working just fine. Hope is helps
