Really on the edge to buy this, already have the snes version on wii-u, but 1. I like luigi2. the extras in the game makes my 2nd favorite mario game (yoshis island being 1st) that much better. however i agree with the review, the snes has a tab better audio, and that's pretty big for me. but....LUIGI!
The game was produced by Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto, and directed by Hiroyuki Kimura with supervision from original SNES directors Takashi Tezuka and Toshihiko Nakago. The new graphics were designed by Emi Tomita, and the new audio cues were composed by Yasushi Ida and Taiju Suzuki.
But we do know that Mario, Peach and Bowser will all be available as playable characters, and there are elements of the new DS Mario game included, like being able to 'super-size' Mario into a screen-filling 8-bit pixel monster. Sounds intriguing...
really specific hypothetical but ok imagine the next 2d mario game is just called "Super Mario Bros." then a number, like what they did with Mario Kart 7. here's the vibes different numbers they could pick for that title would have :) 59ce067264
